These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging with DSTV Installation Centurion (hereinafter referred to as "the Company", "we", "us", or "our") through our website or by utilizing our installation services, you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. Should you disagree with any provision herein, you are expressly prohibited from using our services.
2. Service Description
The Company provides professional installation, maintenance, and repair services for DSTV satellite television systems within the Centurion and Pretoria East regions. Our technicians are trained in accordance with MultiChoice South Africa's technical standards and specifications.
Service Limitations
Service availability is contingent upon geographical location, technical feasibility, and equipment compatibility. We reserve the right to refuse service where installation would violate safety standards or local regulations.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Prior to service commencement, customers shall:
- Ensure a safe, unobstructed work area for our technicians
- Disclose any potential hazards at the premises (structural, electrical, etc.)
- Provide necessary access to installation points (roof, walls, electrical points)
- Secure permission for any required structural modifications
4. Liability Provisions
4.1 Property Damage Limitation
While the Company exercises due diligence in all service operations, we shall not be held liable for any incidental damage to property or equipment arising during service delivery, save where such damage is proven to result directly from gross negligence or willful misconduct by our certified technicians.
4.2 Equipment Responsibility
Customers bear sole responsibility for equipment purchased separately from our services. The Company's warranty coverage extends solely to workmanship and components supplied by us. For issues concerning DStv hardware or subscriptions, customers should contact MultiChoice South Africa Support.
5. Payment Terms
All services require payment upon completion unless prior written credit arrangements have been established. We accept major credit cards, EFT, and cash payments. Late payments shall accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by South African law.
6. Warranty & Service Guarantee
The Company provides a 6 months workmanship warranty on all installations. This warranty covers defects arising from improper installation but excludes:
- Damage from external factors (weather, vandalism, etc.)
- Issues with customer-provided equipment
- Problems arising from signal interference beyond our control
For warranty claims, please contact our service department with your original service receipt.
7. Amendments to Terms
DSTV Installation Centurion expressly reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Such changes shall become effective immediately upon publication on our website. Your continued use of our services following any modification constitutes irrevocable acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Centurion, Gauteng Province.
9. Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled without penalty with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled service time may incur a fee equal to 20%% of the quoted service charge.
